“Life is a celebration.” This phrase, which Théo Tobiasse loved to repeat, reveals the soul and work of this tireless artist. He painted objects, situations, dreams, but also places, myths and legends, real and imaginary beings… He painted the great river of creation that flows through him. His famous vibrant colors and the unique light of his paintings stemmed from a desire for perpetual rebirth after experiencing the tragedy of exile and the chaos of the dark years of the Occupation in France. The catalog brings together nearly 6,000 works, painted on canvas, cardboard, or paper, created between 1958 and 2012. They represent the entirety of Théo Tobiasse’s pictorial oeuvre. His works have traveled the world and have been exhibited in renowned private collections as well as in numerous internationally acclaimed museums and public institutions. Edited by Catherine Tobiasse, daughter of the artist and expert with the European Chamber of Expert Consultants in Works of Art (CECOA), "Théo Tobiasse: Catalogue Raisonné" is presented in 2 volumes:

- Volume 1: 244 Pages

- Volume 2: 672 Pages

- That makes 3170 illustrations in total.
